Ko Tarutao is a large uninhabited island which is part of a 51-island National Park. The beach on the western side at Ao Sone has about two miles of beautiful sand. There were only about six other people there, even though it has the park headquarters, a campground, a restaurant, road transportation from the ferry terminal and boat service. We looked in vain for tracks of nesting turtles.
